The Bengali Association of Delaware Valley opened its first Bangla School in 2005 at the Hindu Temple in Hockessin, Delaware. Over the years, the school has served young kids of the community by introducing them to the language of their immigrant parents – Bangla. Encouraged by the growing interest, BADV opened a second Bangla School in 2015 at the Krishna Village in Bear, Delaware. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the community schools and enroll your children to offer them the opportunity to learn about their language, their culture and their heritage.
