The Pujo
The Bengali Association of Delaware Valley (BADV) is thrilled to celebrate its 24th Durga Puja, a festival that holds a rich heritage and is the biggest celebration for Bengalis. This three-day event will be held at McKean High School from Friday, October 4th to Sunday, October 6th. The festivities kick off on Friday evening at 5 PM with Debi Boron and Sasti Puja, followed by dinner and a cultural program featuring a performance by the renowned Jojo Mukherjee and her band.
On Saturday, the day begins at 10 AM with Saptami and Ashtami Puja, followed by lunch and another cultural program. The day concludes with a sumptuous dinner. Sunday starts with Sandhi Puja at 10 AM, followed by Kumari Puja, Nabami, and Dashami Puja. A traditional Bengali lunch will be served, making the afternoon special. Post-lunch, the women of the community will participate in Sindur Khela, a cherished tradition of BADV. The evening will be highlighted by a gala musical concert featuring Bengal’s famous Anjan Dutta, a celebrated singer, director, and writer. Anjan Dutta will be accompanied by Neel Dutta and Amyt Dutta, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

- Rate Inclusions: The subscription rate includes an entrance fee for one person, which covers food and access to the Puja and cultural events.
- Additional Attendees: If you have additional people accompanying you, they will need to purchase one-day, two-day, or three-day tickets as needed. There will be no separate tickets available just for food or snacks.
- Food Option: All vendor subscription rates include food. There is no option to subscribe without food.
- Table Limit: Each stall can have a maximum of up to 2 tables. There will not be space for more than 2 tables.
- Additional Items: Vendors must bring their own items like banners, tablecloths, mirrors, and hanging items.
- Banner Setup: All banners should be self-standing or set up with a banner stand. We will not provide any equipment to set up the banners.
- Your spot is not confirmed until you have paid the vendor fee for your spot and received a confirmation from the BADV team.
- There are only few limited spaces available at the venue.
